Under SCA Sydney sales director Amanda Unwin, she will be in charge of developing the digital audio growth strategy with SCA Sydney’s agency partners, and plan out packages for potential advertisers.
O’Sullivan was previously the group sales manager and has been with the network for over four years.

Chief to the preparations is an improved ABC Emergency website which includes an interactive map detailing the various emergency events around the country, based on real-time data from the Bureau of Meteorology and the local first-response services, including fire and medical departments. The site will also exhibit emergency contact details for the public and will also be available over Alexa.
A StayConnected Toolkit available on ABC Emergency and the ARC also enables closer coordination between the public and emergency response units, and tune in to the local ABC station for updates.

The closure was confirmed after directors and shareholders of parent firm Mackay Local News Pty Ltd agreed that the paper suffered from lack of advertising revenues. They stated that other papers have offered advertisers free space in their sheets.
The Mackay Local News first went live in February this year as a response to local community concerns for fresh information after News Corp Australia closed down the Daily Mercury print edition in response to the pandemic.

Mary Datoc is the new network managing editor, based in Sydney. She will manage the development of programming for NOVA 96.9FM and the Smoothfm Network.
Datoc started working with NOVA as a freelance writer in 2012, with part of her duties seeing her collaborate with programming chief Peter Clay on the launch of Smoothfm that year.
She also completed programming stints with MTV Korea, XYZ Networks, and Channel V Australia.
“After spending years in music television in Australia and Asia, a stint in events and advertising, returning to radio is exciting. Nova and smooth are such loved stations I’m so proud to be part of the special team behind it all,” said Datoc.
