ARN Sydney station WSFM is opening a position for a journalist, to be on a 12-month maternity cover. The person will be tasked to process the latest news for breakfast show Jonesy and Amanda, including pursuing subject interviews for the live broadcast. They will also aid in the development of the station’s news team and join in newsroom operations as needed. Candidates should be broadcast communications/journalism graduates with over five years’ experience in field work and newsroom activities, plus deep knowledge of media laws. They must be proactive and physically fit for deployment on short notice.
